Demi Lovato

Demetria "Demi" Devonne Lovato was born on August 20, 1992, in Texas. She started her acting career at age seven in Barney. Her career took off in 2008, when she played Mitchie Torres in the DCOM 'Camp Rock' and released her debut album, "Don't Forget". In February 2009, she scored the leading role in the DCOS "Sonny With A Chance", as Sonny Munroe. She's got an amazing singing voice, a lot of acting talent, a great future ahead of her.

The Site Name

I figured a lot of people would want to know why I chose the name Devastating Demi. I wanted to use an adjective that started with D, but all the good ones were taken. I tried to get creative and asked my bff what she thought. She came up with Devastating. After thinking about it, I really like that word. Demi is devastatingly gorgeous, a devastatingly good actress, and has a devastatingly, amazing voice. So, that's where Devastating Demi came from.

AT&T and PPP

Dem is apparently a spokesperson for AT&T! Oh so very exciting, seeing as that's my phone service! She looks fabulous, posing with what looks like the Samsung Rant. It might be a different model, though. :)

Princess Protection Program got some amazing reviews! The movie debuted with 8.6 million viewers! That's the highest premiere since HSM2! Congrats girls, I know it must mean a lot.

For the second night in a row, "One And The Same" is the Dot Com Top 3. Keep voting for it!

Last, but not least, Demi is going to be featured on Walmart Soundcheck on July 15th. I am so excited for this. There's a photoshoot out for it, which you can view here, and you can see it on Walmart's official site when it comes out.

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days, there hasn't been much. I've added a photoshoot, thanks to SOMedia, from the "One and the Same" official video shoot. Don't they look amazing together? I know it's been their to do a movie together since they've been best friends, and a music video just tops the amazingness! PLUS!!! "One And The Same" and debuted on Radio Disney in the top 3 at #2. Amazing, right? Keep voting for the song on Radio Disney to get it to #1. I'm sure it would make their day. :)

Princess Protection Program!

Oh my, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to update earlier and remind everyone about the big premiere tonight! It was so amazing. If you missed it, don't worry! You have two more chances to see it.

It airs tomorrow at 8p/7c on Disney Channel. Demi and Selena are hosting it! Every time you hear the word princess, princesses, or princessa, count it! At the end of the movie, you can go to DisneyChannel.com/PrincessProtectionProgram to enter! If you counted the correct amount of times, you can unlock never before seen episodes of Sonny With a Chance or Wizards of Waverly Place! Awesome, right?

If you're too busy tomorrow, you can tune it watch it on Sunday, with a sneek peak at the brand new Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog. Sunday is your last chance to see it on Disney Channel, though. Next Tuesday, the "Princess Protection Program: Royal B.F.F. Extended Edition" DVD is released! The movie will not be aired on Disney Channel for the rest of the summer. Be sure to purchase it, so you can see the movie as many times as you want it!

Guess what?! "Here We Go Again" is now a single on iTunes! Be sure to purchase it to support Demi, I know it would mean the world to her. She tweeted a ton today. Since there's so many, you can view them here.

Demi was on MTV's Buzzworthy this morning on It's On With Alexa Chung. I didn't get to see it, but I'll add photos from it to the gallery tomorrow. I'll also add Demi's photoshoot at the Trump Hotel.

Demi's music video for "Here We Go Again" premieres on Friday night, after the Premiere of Princess Protection Program. There's also a new Sonny With A Chance episode on Saturday night. Be sure to tune in!
